The current rulebook for the National High School Rodeo Association is the 2020-22 rulebook.

Per the request of the Safety Committee during Mid-Winter Meeting, the updated rough stock safety checklists are available for download. These lists are also posted to the National High School Rodeo website.

*Chute dogging, the right arm cannot go under the neck
*Ribbon Roping, the runner needs to start on the opposite side of the 30-foot finish line
*Jerk down penalty will be 5 seconds in the ribbon roping and the tie down
